📍 From 23 to 25 September 2026, our consortium of cities and partners is gathered in Torino for the fourth #ClimaGen study visit, hosted by the City of Torino together with local partners LINKS Foundation, Fondazione Mirafior, Orti Generali and Urban Lab Torino. The visit centres on the co-creation and implementation of the first round of nature-based solutions (NbS) and other interventions in the city.

🗓️ The programme opened on Wednesday at LINKS Foundation, with a poster session on the ClimaGen City Implementation Journeys, and an afternoon dedicated to the sense-making session activity on methods for exploring how the project's tools and results come together on the ground.

On Thursday, the group moved to Urban Lab Torino for a Joint Learning session, where cities bring real challenges from setting up or running their living labs and work through them together with input from all nine participating cities. The day also included an interactive role game and a walk through Parco del Valentino, with a look at the results of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), the nature-based interventions there, and a visit to the Castello del Valentino and the Botanical Garden.

Friday takes the group to Mirafiori Sud, with a visit to Fondazione Mirafiori, a showcooking and tasting session at Bela Rosin focused on NbS, urban gardening and engagement, and a meeting with Politecnico di Torino on historical research and heritage through augmented and virtual reality.

We're closing the study visit with something special. On Friday afternoon, we get a preview of the River Landscape Festival together with the story of the organisation behind it, right before the Festival itself opens in Torino for the weekend of 25 to 27 September.

🌿 Together, we keep working towards climate-neutral, nature-positive neighbourhoods across Europe.
