The River Landscape Festival 2026 kicks off its first edition in Mirafiori Sud, Torino, 25–27 September
From 25 to 27 September, Mirafiori Sud in Torino will host the first edition of the Festival del Paesaggio Fluviale, Il fiume che ci attraversa (The river that runs through us), a three-day celebration of art, science and community built around the Sangone river.
A river as a space for imagination and care. The festival treats the Sangone not just as a waterway, but as a lens for reading the present and rethinking the relationship between environment, city and community. Over three days, the programme weaves together music, performance, guided walks, workshops, talks and readings, most of them free and open to all.
The festival sits squarely within ClimaGen's Torino intervention area, and reflects the same spirit driving the project's work in Mirafiori Sud: using #participation, #imagination and #naturebased approaches to reconnect people with the landscapes around them.
