Belgrade
#DemonstrationCity
Belgrade is the capital of Serbia, with around 1.7 million inhabitants. Belgrade faces pronounced urban heat island effects, air pollution, and an increased risk of floods and heat waves; therefore, it strives to invest in green infrastructure, sustainable mobility, and climate-resilient urban planning, which are key to mitigating climate change and improving the quality of life in the city.
