D1.2 Inclusiveness and Diversity Management Plan 1

This report presents the initial version of the Inclusiveness and Diversity (I&D) Management Plan, which will be further developed and refined during the project.

D1.3 Open Science and Data Management Plan 1

This deliverable specifies Data Governance and handling of data in the project in the form of initial project guidelines, what types of data are expected to be generated in the project, whether and how it may be made open and publicly accessible for verification or re-use, how it will be curated and preserved, and details on ethical, privacy, and security issues.

ClimaGen’s Inclusiveness and Diversity Strategy is fundamentally guided by the concepts of sustainability, inclusion, and aesthetics.

D1.6 Open Science and Data Management Plan 2

This deliverable constitutes the second Open Science and Data Management Plan (DMP) for the ClimaGen project.

D2.1 ClimaLabs Framework Definition

This ‘ClimaLabs Framework Definition’ describes the common methodological approach to setting up and scaling up ClimaLabs, including Living Labs, with a focus on climate-resilient regeneration and renaturing in the ClimaGen project.

D2.2 ClimaLabs Experience Report 1

D2.2 “ClimaLabs Experience Report 1”, presents the first experiences and learnings from the establishment and operation of the nine ClimaGen Living Labs (ClimaLabs).

D2.3 ClimaGen Financial Concepts 1

The deliverable, D2.3: ClimaGen Financial Concepts 1, provides the first analytical basis for the ClimaGen Finance workstream. It establishes an initial understanding of the participating cities’ project maturity, financial readiness, delivery models, funding status, and key gaps affecting implementation, scale-up, and replication of ClimaGreens.

D3.1 ClimaGen Impact Pathways 1

The project has the ambition to contribute to several medium and long term effects at the societal level having climate mitigation and adaptation, biodiversity and people-centered co-creation as the bottom-lines that the actions are intended to address. To secure a good path to change, documenting and learning from the project actions, the impact pathways are co-designed to support this intention. Impact Pathways describe the hows, the step-by-step process of change.

D3.2 ClimaGen Impact Pathways 2

This deliverable is the updated version of the impact pathways methodology, adapted to ClimaGen, as a framework to guide the work of capturing, documenting, monitoring and evaluating the impact at both levels: across the project and at the cities levels.

D3.3 ClimaGen Impact Model Definition 1

This deliverable presents the first definition of the ClimaGen Impact Model. The model is intended to support the monitoring and assessment of environmental, social, cultural, financial, health, governance and technical impacts of ClimaGen activities across the project’s demonstration cities.

D4.1 ClimaGen Communication, Dissemination, and Exploitation Framework 1

This first version of the ClimaGen Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation Framework sets out the strategic and operational approach for sharing the project’s vision, engaging diverse audiences, and supporting the uptake and replication of its results across Europe.

D4.2 Local CDE Plans by all ClimaGen Cities 1

D4.2 Local Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation Plans by all ClimaGen Cities presents the first iteration of city-specific strategies developed to translate the project’s common strategic framework into local contexts.

D4.4 ClimaGen Policy 1

D4.4 ClimaGen Policy 1 is the first iteration of ClimaGen’s policy-oriented work. It sets out the initial framework for identifying, structuring and communicating policy-relevant learning from the project’s city-level activities, cross-city exchanges and transversal work.

D6.1 ClimaGen Gdańsk City Report 1

The ambition of the Gdansk team is to use nature-based solutions, stakeholder collaboration and evidence-based planning to transform public spaces into greener, more resilient urban areas while also developing long-term cooperation mechanisms.

D7.1 ClimaGen Tartu City Report 1

In Tartu, the ClimaGen project focuses on improving the quality, functionality and climate resilience of existing green spaces in the Annelinn neighbourhood, a dense modernist mass-produced residential district (mikrorayon) developed in the late 1970s–1980s.

D8.1 ClimaGen Torino City Report 1

The City of Torino (Comune di Torino) participates in ClimaGen project as a Demonstrator City, with the objective of designing, testing and implementing regreening measures and Nature-based Solutions (NbS) in the Mirafiori Sud district, a post-industrial and socially complex urban area.

D9.1 ClimaGen Trondheim City Report 1

As a Demonstration City in the ClimaGen project, Trondheim is piloting climate-resilient urban re-greening in the districts of Lademoen and Nyhavna.

D10.1 ClimaGen Cluj-Napoca City Report 1

Cluj-Napoca is one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in Romania, facing increasing pressures related to urban expansion, land-use change, biodiversity loss and climate adaptation. As more residents seek housing opportunities outside the city, neighbouring communes are experiencing rapid transformation, creating new challenges for environmental protection, green infrastructure and the preservation of local identity.

D11.1 ClimaGen Eindhoven City Report 1

As a replication city, Eindhoven applies the ClimaGen framework to the neighbourhood of Limbeek-Noord, a dense and socio-economically vulnerable urban area undergoing significant spatial transformation.

D12.1 ClimaGen Gernika City Report 1

This first City Report, covering the project’s first eighteen months, documents the establishment of the Gernika ClimaLab and the development of its portfolio of greening measures along the Urbieta–Rentería river corridor, an area bordering the Oka river.

D13.1 ClimaGen Thessaloniki City Report 1

Thessaloniki participates in ClimaGen as a Replication City, applying the project’s renaturing and net-zero ambition to the western entrance of the city — an approximately 2.46 km² area (2,457,081 m², or 2,642,164 m² including the abandoned “train cemetery” rail-yards) that represents roughly 10% of the Municipality and is its least green, most fragmented and most socially vulnerable district.
