Last week, ClimaGen took part in two important events in Brussels, advancing conversations on climate resilience and nature-based solutions.

📅 16 October: NetworkNature EU Annual Event "Choose Nature"

We joined stakeholders from across Europe to reflect on the urgency of transformative change to halt biodiversity loss and align economic growth with sustainability. Through inspiring sessions on working with and for nature, investing in nature, and partnering with nature, the event highlighted pathways to building a resilient economy that benefits both people and the planet.

📅 17 October: NetworkNature Nbs Task Forces Cluster Meeting

ClimaGen joined sister projects (GreenInCities, ReGreeneration Europe, URBREATH Horizon Europe Project and Commit2Green) and CINEA - European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency representatives to exchange experiences, co-develop ideas, and strengthen collaboration across the NetworkNature community. The cluster meeting was a valuable space to align on research and innovation priorities, share lessons, and build capacity for scaling Nature-based Solutions.

We are grateful for the fruitful discussions and valuable connections, which will support ClimaGen’s work on climate-resilient regeneration and renaturing in vulnerable neighbourhoods on their path to net-zero 🌱🤝
